This single-setback building combines modern materials and mechanical systems with the use of green space to create a sustainable residential development with commercial overlay zoning to the up-and-coming Penn South-Hudson Yards neighborhood. Using simple architectural geometry, the design manipulates form and shape with pleasing curves, ovals, and soft rectangles, reminiscent of district’s focal point, Madison Square Garden.
